Just wanted to comment on the layout of the new CDAA website. Firtly I assume this has been put together by a member of the association in his/her own time and if so fully appreciate how much personal time it takes to rebuild and regularly maintain and update.
However I would like to make some observations/suggestions. Firstly almost every page is dominated by repeating the overly large title page and contents directory so large in fact that it occupies 50% of the available space leaving only the bottom half of the pages for the actual scrolling content. ie; general club informaton, association waters, match results, news, gallery, contact details, membership information and the members forum etc. Whilst the content directory should of course be linked to every page it need only occupy no more than a small fraction of the repeat pages.
Basically the new website appearance is otherwise much improved, particularly the colour sceme but I am dissapointed that the 1960's Grove Ferry video has not been incorporated.
I hope the foregoing is helpful, if I had the skills myself I would be more than happy to help.
Lastly I have on numberous occasions attempted to access the club facebook without success, Is it restriced in some way which would seem pointless. Can somebody enlighten me?
Lastly can anybody update me on the fishing arrangements on the Little Stour, what information is available is very sparse. Many many years ago when I was a member of the Woolwich and District Angling Assn we rented this fishery and enjoyed some good quality roach fishing, I believe there is some mention of Barbel being introduced in more recent years?

Hi Mick
Thank you for your rapid responce to my post.
I am listing below a selection of other fishing club websites. You will note that some employ a docked static header and on others a smaller version scrolls on every page. Personally when visiting club websites I have never thought either system was a problem. You will however note that the header generally takes up far less space especially on subsequent pages. I hope you will find this useful.
